HOW PLANT-BASED STEM CELLS ARE CHANGING THE FACE OF AGING

HOW PLANT-BASED STEM CELLS ARE CHANGING THE FACE OF AGING

Over the last decade, there has been a significant buzz about the potential of stem cells and how they may be able to help repair and regenerate the body. Much of the discussion has been focused around human stem cells and while the research is ongoing as to their potential, nature has been perfecting this science for millions of years. Plants have the incredible ability to regrow and repair themselves after they have been damaged and this ability is based on a unique stem cell process.

In humans, skin rejuvenation is a complex process that involves proteins and cells in different layers of the skin. As we age, these cells may become less prevalent and thus repair to the layers of the skin may become more difficult. This leads to common skin imperfections including, wrinkles, sunspots and premature aging.

In 1902, an Austrian botanist named Gottlier Haberlandt noted the ability of individual cells within plants to be able to repair and replicate the entire plant itself in a process known as “callus creation.” The cells within the plants are known as “undifferentiated,” which means they have the unique ability to become the same type of cell as those around them. This is why plants are able to repair stems, leaves, or branches with no other chemicals or factors being added to them.

Since that time, significant amounts of research have shown that stem cells from various plants can be expedite the regenerative skin process in humans. When these cells are applied to the skin, they release proteins, growth factors and antioxidants that promote cellular regeneration and increase collagen production. This regeneration decreases inflammation and can help restore aging skin and may be more effective than relying on using human cells to repair aging or damaged skin. In fact, plant stem cells have been shown to have stronger antioxidant properties than that of human cells, and this is most likely due to their evolution to survive in severe weather.

SkinShineBar’s Founder, Gina Freylikhman, has spent over two years formulating Marine Stem Cell Skin Care Products using a special gift from Mother Nature. 8 EASY WAYS TO HAVE FLAWLESS SKIN

8 EASY WAYS TO HAVE FLAWLESS SKIN

Do you want to have a glowing and healthy skin? Well, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on expensive skincare products, nor you have to change everything about your beauty routine. Because I have come up with the best and easiest ways to have a flawless skin. Let’s have a look!

1. Take 8 Hours Of Sleep:

Sleep deprived is one of the main reasons of not having a flawless skin. It’s hard to look gorgeous and youthful when there are dark circles under your eyes. According to a research, a lack of sleep can contribute to periorbital hyperpigmentation, a.k.a. “raccoon eyes.” And a 2010 study from researchers in Sweden showed that a group of participants were rated as more attractive after eight hours of shut-eye compared to when they were sleep deprived.

2. Quit Smoking:

Nicotine has terrible effects on one’s health like it promotes the formation of cancer. Another major effect of nicotine is having a skin with poor health. Studies have shown that people who smoke get fine lines, wrinkles, and grayish skin. The substance destroys skin, leaving it saggy and listless.

3. Moisturize Your Skin Regularly:

It is crucial to maintain the water content for having a healthy skin. Moisturizers slow down water loss through the superficial layers of the skin and strengthen your skin barrier. If you have sensitive skin, look for products with “ceramides,” one of the three types of lipids or fats in the skin. Hence, you are advised to use moisturizer on daily basis to have a glowing and flawless skin.

4. Stay Away From Sugar:

Eating candies and chocolates daily not only damage your waistline but also makes your face look aged. Foods with a high glycemic index (think sugary sweets and white carbs) create an increase in cortisol through a process called “glycosylation,” where sugars bind to collagen and weaken it. Try eating healthy foods which have less sugar to have a healthy skin.

5. Maintain A Workout Routine:

If you want a fresh-faced glow all the time, you’ll need to log a few hours a week getting sweaty. Aim for a minimum of 30 minutes of activity at least five days a week. According to a study, individuals who workout daily have reduced signs of aging than those who don’t exercise. Therefore, working out regularly helps you have a youthful look.

6. Wash Face Every Night:

Sun damage isn’t the only environmental factor you have to worry about: Small micro particles from air pollutants might just hurt your skin, too. Play it safe by remembering to take a minute to cleanse your face to remove yucky debris that could be weakening your skin, as well as to take off makeup.

7. Use Humidifier During Winter:

Winter air is dry which causes skin related problems such as dryness, flaking, and dullness. In order to have a moist skin in winter season, use humidifiers to put moisture back into the air. It will help you have a vibrant skin even during winter.

8. Add These Skin Essentials

Vitamin C: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a great multi-tasking ingredient that helps you have a glowing and healthy skin. It works as a powerful antioxidant, boosts collagen, and protects your skin from UV rays.

Minerals – Zinc and Sulfur: Minerals Zinc and Sulfur act as anti-inflammatories and antibacterials. Zinc promotes healthy skin by acting as a carrier for vitamin A while Sulfur acts as a disinfectant and helps with oil control. Both are great if you have oily skin, big pores or are prone to breakouts.

Omega 3: Omega 3s are great for your skin. It can be found in certain types of fish like tuna, salmon, and anchovies, as well as eggs, nuts, and leafy vegetables. They contain all sorts of antioxidants and reduce inflammation.
